Short Story About Him

He is study in the one of university in Purwokerto (still don’t want to mention its name (^_^)). His name is Gilang Yunizar, but all of his friends in campus called him Buluz (we will talk about his name later). He is smart but lazy, handsome but poor, and not popular but he has many friends, maybe it’s because he is the one of oldest students in his campus. He has been studying 5 years in Diploma program, like Strata program (T_T), and this semester is his last semester for him.

Let’s talk about his name. Why all of his friends called him as Buluz? Where is that name come from? Now I will tell you about the history behind that name. He got that name from his friend when he still studied in semester 2. The first person who called him as Buluz is Isa Amanaturahman. He called Gilang as Buluz because that time Gilang brought big backpack on his back to campus. His backpack is filled with his clothes because he doesn’t have time to bring his clothes to laundry. And he also wear jumper with hood used on his head. Isa called him Buluz because when he used all of that stuff he is like Buluz (turtle). And he announced that name to all friends. At last that name spread to all people in his campus until now.

Gilang/Buluz is second son in his family. He has 1 brother and 1 sister. His brother work as notary public employee and his sister still study in elementary school. Gilang is native people from Purwokerto. He lived in Karang Pucung. He is ever worked as operator at LEON.net internet café and barista at LOJA de CAFÉ.

He has some hobbies like basket, music and video games. But nows he found new hobby, it is photography. This hobby started when he tried his friend’s DSLR camera. After he tried that camera, in directly he is falling in love with photography, until now he has his own DSLR camera, NIKON D90. Beside photography he also interested to movie especially short movie. Sometimes he watched some short movies in youtube. His friends in Jogjakarta also have made many short movies. This matter made him want to make his own short movie more and more. And now, I heard he is in the process of making his first short movie. I hope he will share the short movie he was made in this blog, so we can watch it. Because I think it will be very interesting if we can enjoy what he was created, like his photograph and his movie in this blog……

Welcome to my blog...

For introduction I will start from a little describe about myself. My name is Gilang Yunizar and this is my blog. I am a student of one of university in Purwokerto. I will not mention the name of the university because I am little embarrassed about the incident of corruption against the president of my university some time ago ( haha it’s instead became clear isn’t it?). I took the Diploma program but I feel like studying in Strata program, because I have been studying 5 year in this campus, Aarrghh... (T_T)

But no problem I do not really pursue about grade but rather the experiences it self, because I believe each step have own experience.

I do not have much reason to make this blog. The biggest reason I created this blog because the job of college from creative writing course. And about hope, of course I got an A for the course... (^ _ ^)V

I am happy to make this blog, but it’s not because I have a blog of my own, because a blog can be made anytime and anywhere. But what makes me happy is there are lecturer at my college that have a way of teaching is not fixated only on books but makes own attractive way of teaching like made a blog, like this.

When filling out my KRS,  I required to choose which classes should I follow for creative writing. I was faced with two choices, Mr. Tito’s class and Mrs. Septi’s class. Without a doubt I chose Mrs. Septi’s class because she is my favorite lecturer, beside clear, every teaching she always uses a different way of teaching than others. It was proven (again) in this creative writing class, taught by blog media. 

Thanks to Mrs. Septi Maria who have taught us with a different way and not fixated only on books, because teaching with that way was very boring and did not make the students more developed and insightful. Oh I almost forget, my another hope is lecturers hopefully be more creative about the way of teaching as Mrs. Septi doing.

For this blog itself, I really do not know what to do with this blog, and would be made as what, because this is my first blog, but is certainly beside to the coursework, this blog will be also to share tips, infos, or maybe just for doodles that are not important.
